Elaboration - Religious Trauma, Gender Trauma, Drug Abuse + Alcohol Abuse;Perrin grew up in a cargo cult which was a mix of Vault-Tec and Mormon beliefs for the first 18 years of his life. He was indoctrinated to Mormon beliefs, and still struggles against them. One of the reasons he drinks and takes all the drugs is to rebel against that (this is also why he's addicted to coffee). He was also raised in the role of a woman and expected to become somebody who would give birth when he turned 18. Such has guided his fears and anger about who he could become.

Elaboration - Trauma, Body Horror, Eye Trauma, MutilationOh boy. So. Let's have a list.
- Lost his eye. He doesn't talk about how, but it was cut out in New Reno when he was about 30, after he ran out of money while gambling.
- He was lobotomized. Technically, he isn't even a human anymore.
- He was enslaved for a time and still has (quiet) panic attacks if he needs to wear anything around his neck with weight to it.
- He believes he nuked and destroyed the nation he was attempting to help found. Even after Lonesome Road, he still carries the mental scars of such.
- And that's not to elaborate on things he has seen/witnessed in the Wasteland.
- Or the realistic results of having two bullets in your brain.

Perrin likely will not bring up these things out of nowhere.

OPT-IN

Okay, so there's no way around it: The world of Fallout has a lot of racism. When I play Perrin, I tend to ignore some of it. For example, in the world of Fallout, there is a lot of Sinophobia due to the Great War, and also because the world was very... 50s America. Perrin as a character has also been the victim of racism, and sometimes uses the same language used against him as a defense mechanism. (ie: calling himself a tribal, since he didn't grow up in what people call a proper settlement.)

The world of Fallout also isn't as progressive as ours. Again, this is something often glossed over, and which I can easily gloss over. However, Perrin does know those attitudes!

If you are okay with playing with that and having such mentioned, please reply here.
