Personality.
at first, he seems very rude and blunt. he speaks freely, oftentimes saying things he shouldn't. (he has been like this before the brain injury.) but he cares a lot about people.
will listen to their problems and try and find solutions. not used to people being kind back. sort of hates himself, a lot less after going though the canon storyline. finally feels like he can settle down and begin to become a calmer person.
tech junkie. loves to mess with technology even if it makes him public enemy number one to several organizations.
well-traveled. knows how to survive anywhere and on anything.

comes from the small mormon settlement of vale in nebraska, near the offutt air force base. it was not a good place to be. left at 18, because he didn't want to become a wife at that age. didn't know how to survive. around 20, was left for dead after being robbed. was found by the chosen one, and taken to arroyo. raised by her, she taught him his morals. and also that he could be a guy if he wanted. also was cherished by an ncr ranger who helped out arroyo and taught him the good and bad of politics.
became a courier to travel and see more. (could never settle down, worried about being in another place like vale.) got a motorcycle, built it himself.
got top surgery around 28. (thank you followers of the apocalypse) lost his eye around 30 in a brawl in new reno.
never wanted people to find out about his legacy, but it has a way of catching up to you. but he's raised by a hero.
independent/yes man ending. tried not to screw the ncr over, but doesn't feel they're best. very anti-legion, though.

visual. shorter then expected for a courier. dark-skinned. scar over forehead which reaches all around head. scar over right eye. tends to wear one side of hair out straightened, has begun to braid other side of hair. looks slightly intimidating.
attire. always wears a scarf over neck. doesn't like anything else there. tends to wear a certain duster (the one ulysses gave him) as well all of the time. in fact, wears clothes that cover most of his body most of the time.
demeanor. seemingly open and playful, but clearly hiding things. never lies, but bends the truth. seems to dislike violence. seems to love sinning in his own way. that way is drinking and taking drugs. a good listener. believes in freedom, no matter the cost.
aural.has an oddly raspy voice. sounds pained at times, and similar to a ghoul. (his vocal chords were hurt by breathing in the toxic cloud of the sierra madre.) voice claim: gideon emery. [vocal chords restored by becoming dragonite.]
olfactory. smells of rust and machines. comes from wasteland, so. has that smell of death and decay.
